About the Garden
The Hantam NBG is located on the Bokkeveld Plateau just outside Nieuwoudtville and is also known as the bulb capital of the world. It comprises a vast area of over 6 000 hectares with almost 40% of the flora being bulbs. Large patches of Renosterveld and Succulent Karoo are also found in the Garden.
